Evidence on file

For each control, the evidence it promised and whether it is actually there.

Shown with a modelled example organisation. Nothing on this screen is a real institution.

Evidence on file lists every active control assignment with the evidence it is expected to produce, how often, who last recorded it and when the next one is due. Up to date, due soon, overdue and missing appear as plain labels, not codes.

Each row has a Record button that opens a form already filled with the requirement, the scope and the evidence type. Recording takes less time than finding the right template would. Documents can be attached and are kept with the entry.

On this screen you can

  • See at a glance which controls are backed by current evidence.
  • Record evidence from a prefilled form, with attachments.
  • Ask someone outside the organisation to provide the evidence instead.
  • Open the evidence history for any control.
