Some supervisors want a particular inventory in a particular shape: a model inventory in the form OSFI Guideline E-23 describes, for example. Regulator reports render your organisation’s records in that layout, from the same data as everything else, and only offer the layouts for regulators whose rules actually apply to you.
A layout that does not apply is still available, behind a clear warning, for the organisations that want to see what a neighbouring regime would ask of them.
